WORM ALERT!!!

Be aware of Cyathostome migrations during Spring in your horses.

Cyathostomes are small strongyle worms that are the most common and important equine worm in Australia

Symptoms

  • Soft faeces (or normal faeces with some loose brown water)
  • Mild increase in temperature (38.1-38.5 C)
  • Weight loss

These symptoms should be considered very suspicious if they occur approximately one week after deworming your horse.
